Hannibal Buress
Doors open at 6PM | Music starts at 7PM
From within the bustling heart of the Windy City, a comedian named Hannibal Buress embarked upon his journey. The year was 2002, the location, the Big Muddy Room at Southern Illinois University. Guided by the wisdom of his friend Chidi and sharpened in the fires of Tony Trimm's "Sunday School sessions," young Buress was prepared to take the comedy world by storm.
In 2006, he emerged from the shadows, performing at Montreal's 'Just for Laughs' New Faces, an event that led to his first international appearance on "Late Night with Jörgen Raymann" in Holland. From that moment, he continued to grow, creating a series of successful stand-up specials including "Animal Furnace," "Live From Chicago," "Hannibal Takes Edinburgh," "Comedy Camisado," and "Miami Nights".
Fate intervened in 2009, when a last-minute booking on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" led to a meeting with Seth Meyers. This encounter gave him the opportunity to write for the legendary show "Saturday Night Live." It was there, my young turtles, where Buress had one sketch air – a moment he credits to the creativity of his cousin Percy. He cherishes the memory of watching Rihanna uttering his lines in the "Shy Ronnie" sketch. After a season there, he moved to "30 Rock," filling the space left vacant by the departure of Donald Glover.
In the realm of film, Buress has proven his versatility, showcasing his talents in "Neighbors," "Neighbors 2," "Baywatch," "Daddy's Home," "Spiderman: Homecoming," "Spiderman: Far From Home," and "Tag." He also provided a memorable performance as Lincoln the dentist on "Broad City" and lent his voice to animations like "The Secret Life of Pets" and "The Angry Birds Movie." From 2009 to 2017, Buress held court at the "Comedy at the Knitting Factory," his charm and wit making an indelible mark on late-night television, featuring on shows such as "David Letterman," "Conan," "Stephen Colbert," and "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah."
In 2022, he underwent a transformation, shedding his skin to become Eshu Tune in the world of music. His rhythmic anthems like "Veneers remix" with Danny Brown and Paul Wall, the lively bowling song "1-3 Pocket," and the meticulously crafted "I Lift Weights" echo through the streets. This endeavor was made possible through collaborations with creative minds like Kiefer, Tru, Eshu Tune, Wahsabi Papi, Kenny Segal, Eryn Allen Kane, and Haile Supreme. Through these transformations, Hannibal Buress remains a true warrior in the world of entertainment.

KT Tunstall
Doors open at 6:30PM | Show starts at 7:30PM
KT Tunstall has always lived in pursuit of creative evolution.
The Grammy-nominated, Brit Award-winning Scottish artist made an indelible mark on the music world with her 2004 multi-platinum debut Eye to the Telescope, immediately establishing herself as a formidable force.
Nearly two decades on, Tunstall’s career has spanned an eclectic array of genres - from introspective folk to blistering rock and experimental electro-pop - while she has remained one of the most iconic live performers of her generation, renowned for her extraordinary voice that shifts effortlessly from soulful to bluesy grit to delicate folk-pop. Her music embodies a balance of raw emotion and visceral energy, always remaining in constant service to memorable melody, while her live shows are punctuated by a warm and often hilarious rapport with her audience.
Tunstall’s breakthrough came in 2004 on the revered UK music show Later… with Jools Holland. A last-minute addition to the lineup after rapper Nas dropped out, Tunstall took to the stage armed with just her guitar, a loop pedal, and a tambourine on the floor. “Do that new ‘Woo Hoo’ one,” her Label Boss suggested. So she did - and the rest, as they say, is history. Her stripped-back yet electrifying performance of “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree” captivated audiences instantly, propelling her to global fame. In a pre-loop-pedal revolution era, long before artists like Ed Sheeran popularized its use, Tunstall stood out as a trailblazer and true pioneer of its use, making the ‘one-woman-band’ setup not just novel but essential. “That night made me understand something important,” Tunstall recalls. “It’s not just about the song, it’s how you execute it under pressure, how you share it. I didn’t realise how much people would love seeing how I did it. I think people got a kick out of seeing someone do something risky live, and pull it off.”

Brad Williams - Tall Tales Tour
Doors open at 6PM | Show starts at 7PM
Pound for pound, Brad Williams is the funniest comedian in the country right now, and has become one of the most in-demand comedians working today. Williams started doing stand-up comedy as a teenager and has been touring successfully ever since, routinely selling out prestigious venues all over the country and world.
Williams has parlayed his live performances into a multitude of stand-up television appearances, including The Tonight Show, Dave Attell’s Comedy Underground, and Jimmy Kimmel Live. His first one-hour special, Fun Size, was the highest rated special on Showtime, and a year later, he followed that up with his second one, Daddy Issues, which was even more successful than the first. His third special in three years was an uproarious one, hosting some of the edgiest comedians in the country from the prestigious Montreal Just For Laughs Festival. His last groundbreaking special on Netflix, The Degenerates, garnered more huge ratings and rave reviews.
Also an accomplished actor, Williams has appeared on numerous TV shows and feature films, including FX’s Legit, Sam and Cat, Mind of Mencia, Pitboss, a recurring role on the Hulu original show Deadbeat, and memorable roles in a plethora of movies, including Little Evil, produced by Scott Stuber (Ted), as well as the Netflix original Christopher Guest film, Mascots, and most recently Reno 911: It’s A Wonderful Heist.
Recently, Brad became the first stand-up comedian to headline a Cirque de Soleil show in their 30 year history, when he agreed to launch—and do a three month run of—their newest show Mad Apple, at the magnificent 1200 seat New York New York Theater in Las Vegas. The show became an immediate smash hit to rave revues, singling out Williams for his incredible ability to captivate his audiences with his extraordinary performances.
In addition to stand-up and acting, Williams co-created and co-hosted one of the most successful podcasts in the world, with friend and fellow comic Adam Ray, entitled About Last Night, which was always a mainstay on the iTunes charts during their five year run. Additionally, he is also a regular contributor with a series of incredibly funny appearances on several national radio and podcast platforms, including KROQ’s Kevin and Bean Show and The Adam Carolla Show.
Williams’ humorous and inspiring observations on disability, relationships, sex, and race consistently win over audiences; proving anyone can overcome their shortcomings. His high energy live performances frequently produce standing ovations from audience members; which prompted the late Robin Williams to call him “Prozac with a head.”

Hot Tuna Acoustic
Doors open at 7PM | Music starts at 8PM
Hot Tuna, an iconic American blues rock band, has been delivering a profound musical experience to audiences pushing six decades. With founding members Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady at its helm, the band has constantly evolved, continually injecting fresh energy and improvisation into their sound.
The story of Hot Tuna begins with Jefferson Airplane, a pioneering psychedelic rock band of the 1960s. Guitarist Jorma Kaukonen and bassist Jack Casady were at the heart of Jefferson Airplane, contributing to its distinctive sound and monumental success. As members of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Grammy recipients, Kaukonen and Casady helped shape the musical landscape of the era, leaving an indelible mark on the history of rock and roll.
Casady, long considered one of rock’s first bass heroes, has been a driving force behind this evolution. His creativity is evidenced by his continually evolving bass solos in his extensive library of songs and live performances. At almost 85 years of age, Kaukonen remains at the apex of his skills, captivating audiences with his husky voice and proficient blues licks that rival the iconic leads of many blues rock masters. Together, they are well-seasoned musicians and musical treasures.
Hot Tuna’s live performances are legendary and known for their spontaneity and energy. The band’s ability to improvise and create unique musical moments on stage has garnered them a dedicated following. Each concert is a testament to their musicianship and deep connection with the audience.
Hot Tuna’s contributions to music have not gone unnoticed. In October of 2022, Jefferson Airplane was given its star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The band’s surviving members, Casady, Kaukonen, and Grace Slick attended the ceremony. Fittingly, the star is located right in front of the Musician’s Institute, cementing their place in the annals of rock history.
Hot Tuna’s journey is a testament to the enduring power of passion, creativity, and innovation. From their roots in Jefferson Airplane to their status as blues-rock legends, Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady have left an indelible mark on the music world. Hot Tuna remains one of American music’s most innovative Rock and Roll bands, continuing to inspire and captivate audiences with their timeless sound and unwavering dedication to their craft.

ASKING ALEXANDRIA:
English Metalcore band Asking Alexandria's origins began in Dubai, where lead guitarist Ben Bruce first developed a group around the name. After releasing one album, The Irony of Your Perfection, the group disbanded. Bruce returned to York in North Yorkshire, England. Using the name Asking Alexandria, he formed a new group with no musical or personnel ties to his former band from Dubai.
In 2008, the band began as a six-piece with synthesist Ryan Binns. Binns departed before the recording of the band's debut album, leaving Asking Alexandria a quintet. In January of 2009, bassist Joe Lancaster was replaced by Sam Bettley. Since then Asking Alexandria has included Bruce, Bettley, vocalist Danny Worsnop, rhythm guitarist Cameron Liddell and drummer James Cassells.
Recorded in spring 2009, the band's first LP, Stand Up & Scream, was released later that year on September 15. It charted at 170 on the Billboard Top 200. The band's second release was the EP Life Gone Wild, which featured a demo of the song "Breathless," and two Skid Row covers, "18 And Life," and "Youth Gone Wild." Nearly four months later, on April 5, 2011 the band released their sophomore album, Reckless & Relentless. The album sold 31,000 copies in its first week, and reached number nine on the Billboard 200.

Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox - Magic & Moonlight Tour
Doors open at 7:00PM | Music starts at 8:00PM
Concertgoers can expect to enter a parallel musical universe where modern-day earworms and iconic pop hits alike are reimagined in classic genres like 1920s jazz, Swing, Doo-wop and Motown, and brought to life by a cast of some of the world’s best singers, dancers, and instrumentalists. Think “The Great Gatsby” meets “Sinatra at the Sands” meets “Back! …To The Future”. When Bradlee started making YouTube videos that remade the hits of today in the classic styles of yesterday, a “viral” success story was born — one that quickly led to sold out shows across North America and Europe in the Summer of 2014.
Ten years and two billion views on their YouTube channel later, a Postmodern Jukebox show has become something of an annual musical tradition for hundreds of thousands of dedicated fans, all over the world. The rare concert act that appeals across generations, older audience members will fall in love with the timeless sounds and nostalgic sensibilities, while younger fans will be thrilled by the fresh take on current pop culture and the sheer virtuosity of the performers on stage. Dress vintage, for the full effect!
The Wallflowers
Doors open at 7:00PM | Music starts at 8:00PM
For the past 30 years, the Jakob Dylan-led act stood as one of rock’s most dynamic and purposeful bands–a unit dedicated to and continually honing a sound that meshes timeless songwriting and storytelling with a hard-hitting and decidedly modern musical attack. That signature style has been present through the decades, baked into the grooves of smash hits like 1996’s Bringing Down the Horse as well as more recent and exploratory fare like 2012’s Glad All Over. Even so, in recent years, Dylan–the Wallflowers’ founding singer, song writer and guitarist– has repeatedly stepped outside of his band, first with a pair of more acoustic and rootsy records, 2008’s Seeing Things and 2010’s Women + Country, and then with the 2018 film Echo in the Canyon and the accompanying soundtrack, which saw him collaborate with a host of artists classic and contemporary, from Neil Young and Eric Clapton to Beck and Fiona Apple.
Dylan continues with Exit Wounds, the brand-new Wallflowers studio offering. The collection marks the first new Wallflowers material since Glad All Over. And while the wait has been long, the much-anticipated record finds the band’s signature sound– lean, potent and eminently entrancing–intact, even as Dylan surrounds himself with a fresh cast of musicians.
For Dylan, Exit Wounds is the next chapter in a career devoted to chasing – and capturing – that magic. “I came up in an era of great rock ‘n’ roll bands making great music, and it’s the way I always imagined I would do it one day,” he says. “So that’s always been my vision with the Wallflowers–to be a great rock ‘n’ roll band. And I've worked on it for 30 years now and I still have a lot to say. It’s something I started a longtime ago, and it’s far from finished.”

Ice Nine Kills have announced the ICE NINE KILLS: HELL OF A SUMMER TOUR , a brand new US headline run kicking off this August. Produced by Live Nation, the tour will bring the band’s twisted theatricality and cinematic carnage to arenas and amphitheaters across the country, closing out with a homecoming performance at Worcester’s DCU Center as part of the band’s annual Silver Scream Con .
The tour’s lineup spans a cross-section of modern heavy music’s most dynamic voices. Ice Nine Kills will be joined by Dayseeker, Kim Dracula, and The Funeral Portrait.
Spencer Charnas, vocalist and creative architect of Ice Nine Kills, shares:
“The HELL OF A SUMMER TOUR will be a celebration of all things INK — past, present, and future.
It’s an eclectic bill, and having MEST on some of the shows is a particularly full-circle moment for me. As many Psychos will remember, I formed the band after seeing Goldfinger and MEST in Worcester 25 years ago.
The date is so important to me that I have it tattooed behind my ear.
The tour culminates in a sure-to-be historic performance at the DCU Center, where I experienced some of my first arena shows as a kid, including the Family Values Tour with our current tourmates, Limp Bizkit, and home of the Silver Scream Con.
The HELL OF A SUMMER TOUR’s last stop, at the Silver Scream Con, will also feature some New England punk rock royalty as a very special guest.”
Tickets will be available starting with an artist presale via Ice Nine Kills 'Psychos Only’ app, beginning Monday, May 19 at 11am ET / 8am PT. Additional presales—including Citi, Live Nation, Spotify, Knotfest, and more—will run throughout the week. The general on sale begins Friday, May 23 at 10am local time at IceNineKills.com/tour.

The String Cheese Incident
Gates Open @ 5PM | Show Starts @ 6:15M
Ticket Prices: $55.00 - $85.00
The past three decades have written a story packed full of surreal experiences, epic moments, groundbreaking involvement and huge accomplishments. The String Cheese Incident has been recognized for their commitment to musical creativity and integrity, for their community spirit, philanthropic endeavors, and for their innovative approach to the business of music.
When The String Cheese Incident’s growth first started gaining momentum in the 1990s, as the Internet was just beginning to take hold and the major-label business model was failing, the band decided to make music on their own terms.
Since then, The String Cheese Incident has gone on to carve out a completely unique approach to the business of music; they are truly pioneers of a new way of “making a band.” With the Internet as their tool, SCI was among the first artists to disseminate information online, such as tour dates, release information, and other news, to their growing fan base. Rather than doing business on such terms as “the bottom line,” SCI put their music and their fans first, opening companies of their own, including a ticketing company, a merchandise company and a fan travel agency, to best serve their community. The band’s record label, SCI Fidelity Records, has always operated under the same ideals. Even early on, SCI Fidelity embraced downloadable music and file sharing, delivering SCI’s “On The Road” series, where every show the band plays is made available for download on the Internet. Whether they realized it at the time or not, The String Cheese Incident was inventing grassroots band development. Today, literally hundreds of bands are using some version of this same approach to build their brand.
The String Cheese Incident’s commitment goes well beyond their immediate community, and even beyond the music community as a whole. Early on, the band took a serious interest in giving back to the communities that they visited, and they were among the first performers to encourage “Green” shows and tours. SCI’s support has helped give rise to such not-for-profit organizations as Conscious Alliance and HeadCount. All the while, The String Cheese Incident has stayed committed to music as a creative endeavor, not just in their recordings but also in their live performances. The list of SCI’s special guests and collaborators is long and diverse. Their annual events such as Electric Forest and Hulaween, and holiday shows such as New Year’s Eve, have helped redefine the concert experience and have garnered the band a reputation as live music vibe innovators.

Salmon is a band who for more than thirty years has never stood still; they are constantly changing, evolving, and inspiring. If someone wanted to understand what Americana music is they could do no better than to go to a Leftover Salmon show, where they effortlessly glide from a bluegrass number born on the front porch, to the down-and-dirty Cajun swamps with a stop on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, to the hallowed halls of the Ryman in Nashville, before firing one up in the mountains of Colorado.
About The Infamous Stringdusters: The Infamous Stringdusters are a celebrated American progressive bluegrass band known for their virtuosic musicianship, innovative arrangements, and genre-blending style. The GRAMMY® Award-winning Americana quintet—Andy Falco [guitar], Chris Pandolfi [banjo], Andy Hall [dobro], Jeremy Garrett [fiddle], and Travis Book [double bass]—have musical influences that truly run the gamut, but their common denominator is certainly bluegrass— the sound that has in essence defined the course of their career.
Their powerful music and performances paved the way for a GRAMMY® Award win in the category of “Best Bluegrass Album” for 2017’s Laws of Gravity, and a number of International Bluegrass Music Awards (IBMA) in a variety of categories. Known for their energetic live shows and improvisational prowess, The Infamous Stringdusters continue to push the boundaries of bluegrass while honoring its roots, captivating audiences across the country and around the world.

Dave Alvin and Jimmie Dale Gilmore with the Guilty Ones
Doors open at 6:30PM | Show beings at 7:30PM
With special guest Taylor Scott Band.
When Grammy winner Dave Alvin and Grammy nominee Jimmie Dale Gilmore made the album Downey To Lubbock together in 2018, they wrote the title track as a sort of mission statement. “I know someday this old highway’s gonna come to an end,” Alvin sings near the song’s conclusion. Gilmore answers: “But I know when it does you’re going to be my friend.”
Six years later, they’re serving notice that the old highway hasn’t ended yet. “We’re still standing, no matter what you might hear,” they sing on “We’re Still Here,” the final track to their new album Texicali, which continues to bridge the distance between the two troubadours’ respective home bases of California (Alvin) and Texas (Gilmore).
The album’s geographic theme reflects Alvin’s repeated journeys to record in Central Texas with Gilmore and the Austin-based backing band that has toured with the duo for the past few years. The 11 songs on Texicali also connect the duo’s shared fondness for a broad range of American music forms. On their own, both have been prominent artists for decades. A philosophical songwriter with a captivating, almost mystical voice, Gilmore co-founded influential Lubbock group the Flatlanders in the early 1970s. Alvin first drew attention as a firebrand guitarist and budding young songwriter with Los Angeles roots-rockers the Blasters in the early 1980s.
Gilmore is primarily known for left-of-center country music, while Alvin’s compass points largely toward old-school blues. But there’s a lot of ground to cover beyond those foundations, and both artists also are well-known for transcending genre limitations. So it’s not surprising that they’ve spiked Texicali with cosmic folk narratives, deep R&B grooves and even swinging reggae rhythms. “There’s such a strange variety through the whole thing,” Gilmore says. “And I love that.”
They’re both quick to credit the musicians who joined them in the studio as crucial to the sound and spirit of the album. On Downey To Lubbock , they recorded primarily in Los Angeles with a crew that included ringers such as the late Don Heffington on drums and Van Dyke Parks on accordion. This time, though, Alvin’s longtime rhythm section of drummer Lisa Pankratz and bassist Brad Fordham played a larger role, along with guitarist Chris Miller and keyboardist Bukka Allen. “After the time we spent touring, Jimmie and I became members of this band,”
Alvin says. “The band can play just about anything, which the album shows off.”
Texicali also found Alvin and Gilmore increasingly focusing on original songs. Among them are “Trying To Be Free,” which Gilmore wrote more than 50 years ago; “Southwest Chief,” a collaboration between Alvin and the late Bill Morrissey; and “Death of the Last Stripper,” which Alvin wrote with Terry Allen and his wife Jo Harvey Allen.
Just as important, however, are the choices they made for non-original material. The covers on Texicali include “Roll Around” by Gilmore’s longtime friend Butch Hancock; “Broke Down Engine” and “Betty And Dupree” from blues greats Blind Willie McTell and Brownie McGhee, respectively; and Stonewall Jackson’s “That’s Why I’m Walking,” which marries Gilmore’s country croon to a New Orleans R&B arrangement. Gilmore says he loves New Orleans music, “but it’s not the music I play.” Dave slyly counters: “It is now!”

Trampled By Turtles with Clay Street Unit
Gates Open @ 6:30PM | Show Starts @ 7:30PM
Ticket Prices: $36.00 - $65.50 + fees
Trampled by Turtles hail from Duluth, Minnesota, where front man Dave Simonett initially formed the group as a side project in 2003. At the time, Simonett had lost most of his music gear, thanks to a group of enterprising car thieves who'd ransacked his vehicle while he played a show with his previous band. Left with nothing more than an acoustic guitar, he began piecing together a new band, this time taking inspiration from bluegrass, folk, and other genres that didn't rely on amplification. Simonett hadn't played any bluegrass music before, and he filled his lineup with other newcomers to the genre, including fiddler Ryan Young (who'd previously played drums in a speed metal act) and bassist Tim Saxhaug. Along with mandolinist Erik Berry and banjo player Dave Carroll, the group began carving out a fast, frenetic sound that owed as much to rock & roll as bluegrass.
Trampled by Turtles released their first record, Songs from a Ghost Town, in 2004. In a genre steeped in tradition, the album stood out for its contemporary sound, essentially bridging the gap between the bandmates' background in rock music and their new acoustic leanings. Blue Sky and the Devil (2005) and Trouble (2007) explored a similar sound, but it wasn't until 2008 and the band's fourth release, Duluth, that Trampled by Turtles received recognition by the bluegrass community. Duluth peaked at number eight on the Billboard bluegrass chart and paved the way for a number of festival appearances. When Palomino arrived in 2010, it was met with an even greater response, debuting at the top of the bluegrass chart, and remaining in the Top Ten for more than a year. Two years later, their crossover appeal landed them at number 32 on the Billboard 200 pop charts upon the release of their sixth album, Stars and Satellites. In addition to major bluegrass and folk festivals, they began showing up at Coachella, Bumbershoot, and Lollapalooza. The official concert album, Live at First Avenue, followed in
2013, recorded at Minnesota's most famous venue. A year later, the band returned with the darker-toned Wild Animals, which bettered its studio predecessor on the album charts, reaching number 29. Trampled by Turtles’ last two full length albums, Life Is Good on the Open Road (2018) and Alpenglow (2022), both peaked at number 1 on Billboard Bluegrass Chart. Their newest release, EP Always Here, was released earlier in September.
