2022 BANFF Mountain Film Fest - Larch

Travel to stunning landscapes and remote vistas February 25 and 26 through the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour at the Avalon Theatre presented by the Rotary Club of Grand Junction. Featuring two exciting film line ups, Maple and Larch, this year’s tour will feature a collection of the most inspiring action, environmental, and adventure films. You won't want miss films such as a "A Dog's Tale", a fast-paced mountain bike ride through the forest with man's best friends or "Breaking Trail" about Emily Ford who hikes over 1,000 miles with sled dog Diggins on the Ice Age Trail in winter plus many more climbing, boating, mountain biking and running films to inspire and invigorate us all!

Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival is one of the largest and most prestigious mountain festivals in the world! Traveling to stunning landscapes and remote vistas, the 2021/2022 World Tour is an exhilarating and provocative exploration of the mountain world. From the over 400 entries submitted into the Festival each year, award-winning films and audience favorites are carefully selected to travel the globe. Your ticket purchase will support Colorado Canyons Association, Colorado Mesa University International Student Program, Colorado National Monument Association and Western Colorado Conservation Corps.

You can also gift virtual Banff films again this year with two different line-ups that will not be featured in the February festival at the Avalon. Some favorites of mine that can only be seen virtually in the Sage Program are The Slabs with Scottish mountain biker Danny MacAskill and the Avres-En-Ciel featuring two French slackliners.

The Sage and Pine Virtual line-ups are now officially on sale! Purchase tickets through GJ Rotary here.
